GMA 7 shows back on top

After an exciting weekend of gruelling ups and downs in the ratings game, GMA 7 shows are once again back on top.

In the daytime race, the tandem of Dennis Trillo and Katrina Halili in Magdusa Ka regained the top spot with 23.3% rating from Kaputol Ng Isang Awit which is now on its final week as it slipped to the No. 3 spot with 22.9% behind Daisy Siete with 23% at second place.

In the primetime race, Dyesebel returned to its 40 plus rating to continue its grip of the top spot.

Joaquin Bordado, Babangon Ako’t Dudurugin Kita, 24 Oras and Lobo completed the top 5.

Here are the Top 10 daytime and primetime programs last June 10 based on the overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households:

June 10 (Tuesday)

Daytime:

  1. Magdusa Ka (GMA-7) – 23.8%
  2. Daisy Siete (GMA-7) – 23%
  3. Kaputol ng Isang Awit (GMA-7) – 22.9%
  4. Eat Bulaga! (GMA-7) – 22.4%
  5. El Cuerpo Deseo (ABS-CBN) – 19%
  6. Wowowee (ABS-CBN) – 18.2%
  7. Ligaw na Bulaklak (ABS-CBN) – 15.9%
  8. Pilipinas, Game KNB? (ABS-CBN) – 13.9%
  9. Da Big Show (GMA-7) – 13.4%
  10. Boy & Kris (GMA-7) – 9.3%

Primetime:

  1. Dyesebel (GMA-7) – 40.3%
  2. Joaquin Bordado (GMA-7) – 34.3%
  3. Babangon Ako’t Dudurugin Kita (GMA-7) – 30.1%
  4. 24 Oras (GMA-7) – 29.4%
  5. Lobo (ABS-CBN)  – 23.3%
  6. The Singing Bee (ABS-CBN) / My Girl (ABS-CBN) – 22.7%
  7. TV Patrol World (ABS-CBN) – 19.2%
  8. Dalja’s Spring (GMA-7) – 18.7%

    TV ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen have already been tainted with fraud. Remember the unresolved issue about the alleged conspiracy between AGB and GMA7? According to the witnesses (former station manager of GMA’s Campus Radio in Iloilo also testified), they were asked to locate the panel homes of AGB para sila’y mamumudmod ng cash at grocery items to televiewers just to watch GMA programs. Mula noon, di na talaga kapanipaniwala ang ratings nila. Maski walang ratings naman, you can definitely sense around na ABS-CBN programs ang mas pinapanood, tinatangkilik, at pinag uusapan, right?. ABS-CBN also boasts of top-calibre and more popular talents compared those from GMA. Malay natin, baka manipulated din ang ratings nila sa Mega Manila, that’s why surprisingly, nakalalamang lagi ang mga GMA programs in that particular community. D2 sa cebu, leyte, samar provinces, mas pinapanood talaga ang mga ABS-CBN programs & much talked-about. Although despite this brewing issue of pandaraya by GMA, nananatiling undisputed No.1 pa rin naman ang ABS-CBN nationwide, base na rin sa AGB’s NUTAM surveys. But still, nabahiran na ng pandaraya ang proseso nila. Kaya I humbly urge any blogsite to stop publishing those fraud-tainted and deceiving TV ratings by AGB Nielsen. Very inaccurate & erroneous.
